Operation Toy Soldier was founded in July 2009. Our mission is to distribute brief information about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan by way of notes attached to plastic Army men. The idea comes from Code Pink Pittsburgh’s display at the National Assembly to End the Wars and Occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you’re reading this, I invite you to join our mission, whether by yourself or in groups. If you’ve found a toy soldier, then kudos to you. As of August 2009, Operation Toy Soldier has been spread to five states.
Step one: Purchase green Army men.
Step two: Attach brief printed statistics, stories, or statements to the toy soldier’s leg.
Step three: Leave one soldier at a time in random places for others to find.

Peace.

I found one on the Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) campus tagged with a Bob Dylan lyric: http://twitpic.com/c5lya
